The rapid growth of agricultural biotechnology has introduced numerous innovations, but it has also led to concerns over biopiracy and patent disputes. Biopiracy, the unauthorized use of indigenous resources and traditional knowledge by corporations, poses a significant threat to biodiversity and the rights of local communities. This paper examines the misuse of agricultural biotechnology, highlights notable patent wars, and explores legal reforms to protect farmers and indigenous knowledge holders. Empirical data is presented in tabular form to offer insights into case studies, international legal frameworks, and the socio-economic impact of biopiracy
