Mersin province is one of the most important agriculture centres of Turkey. Conventional systems are widely applied in the agricultural production. To obtain higher and quality crop from per unit area is possible with use all production inputs and techniques. Agricultural mechanization has a paramount importance in agriculture production, quality and efficiency of the work. The aim of this study was to determine the projection of technology usage in agriculture of Mersin province. It was calculated that the projection coefficient was 4.49% for cultivator, 3.74% for tractor disc plow, 3.04% for tractor moldboard plow, 0.73% for rotary cultivator, 5.07% for atomiser, 3.79% for planting machine and 4.38% for chemical fertilizing machine. The increasing in the projection co-efficient caused to increase on implement and machine numbers.
